Safety tips for cash pickup

Cash pickup is fast and convenient, but a few precautions go a long way in keeping your recipient and money safe:

  • Choose a safe, well-lit location in a secure area. Avoid cash pickups from remote or crime-prone areas.

  • Call ahead to confirm the agent’s location and business hours.

  • Remind the recipient to have the pickup number and valid ID ready to avoid delays.

  • Bring a friend, especially when collecting large amounts of cash.

  • Secure the money and keep it hidden before leaving the establishment.
